I'm always drinking water. Whether it's drinking an ice cold glass with lemons in the morning to jumpstart my day, or a glass with cucumbers and mint leaves in the midday after going out for a run. Water is important for the body. When I became an athlete in middle school, I realized and learned the importance of keeping my body hydrated. After competing in major track meets like regionals and state championships in high school, water became my best friend. But not only did I learn that without water, my body couldn't properly function, I also learned the many essential benefits of drinking water daily.

"The 5 facts of Drinking Water"

  1. AIDS in digestion and detoxification

  2. Bumps up the vitamin C quotient

  3. Rejuvenates skin and body healing

  4. Helps shed pounds

  5. Boosts energy and mood

I don't know about you, but this encourages me to continue to drink water daily. As a mom, especially a Fitmommy, I need an energy booster to keep up with my girls. So, for those of you who aren't drinking water, it's never too late to start. DRINK UP!
