Consistency

Exercising consistently while pregnant has given me more daily energy than I've ever had. I made the decision when I found out I was pregnant with our fourth lil' nugget to keep exercising. I didn't exercise while being pregnant with my other three children and I paid the price. I found it hard to get back in the swing of things and as healthy as I was pre-pregnancy. It was easier to just say,"I don't have to workout," because I had other obligations of being a mom, starting a new business, and just not having enough time. EXCUSES. We all have them. But, it's never too late to take control and get consistent.
Now, I truly value the word CONSISTENCY. I had an AHA moment last week when I was standing in my daughter's room, preaching to her about consistency. I was talking to her about working on her math skills and making sure she's consistent during the summer, so she'd be ready for the upcoming school year. I thought to myself, here I am preaching to my daughter about consistency and for so long I didn't value it. I mean, I've heard it all throughout my life-especially while competing in collegiate track and field. I must have heard my coaches, professors, parents, and other figures whom I looked up to speak on it a million times, but I didn't pay attention. Today, I encourage consistency. When I train mothers , women who are having trouble attaining their goals, or losing that weight that they can't seem to get rid of, I remind them of consistency. Its importance. I speak on it daily because if one is consistent, magical things happen.
